Akele Omotayo is a dedicated humanitarian that has touched so many lives with her continuous zeal to eradicate poverty. A graduate of Yaba college of Technology, Lagos and a member of Nigeria Institute of Town Planners. Omotayo is a qualified town planner by profession with a passion to reach out to all individuals at the grass root level. Her selflessness and passion drove her to join Rotary International in 1999, an association dedicated to: helping the less privileged, educating children with special needs, providing water and sanitation in rural communities.

With over 20 years of service to rotary today, Omotayo is a prominent member of Rotary club of Agege and also a Paul Harry fellow member of Rotary International. Her humanitarian work has made her widely travelled both within and outside the country for several initiatives, conferences that share her vision of combating poverty in our community.

Omotayo, the brain behind Stalak is known for her excellence in business strategy. The idea of microfinance came to her as a way to help and reach out to more people who are in dire need of financial assistance.

Omosolape Olatemiju is a non-executive director of Stalak Industries Limited (SIL). Omosolape currently works with an IT consulting firm in Ontario, Canada as a Senior Business Analyst. Her time in consulting has afforded her a broad range of experience on a wide variety of clients in different business sectors.

She is a graduate of the University of Lagos where she studied Petroleum/Gas Engineering and also the University of Sheffield where she bagged a master’s degree in Energy and Environmental Engineering.

Omolara Olatunbosun is a non-executive director at Stalak Industries Limited. She is a graduate of the University of Lagos where she studied Insurance.

Upon graduation she got a job in Diamond Bank PLC, one of the prestigious banks in Nigeria where she found her love for Finance. Omolara decided to pursue her new love in finance, which drove her to get a Masters degree in Finance and Investment Management at the University of Hertfordshire, United Kingdom where she graduated with a Merit in 2013.

In October 2013, Omolara joined SIL. During her time at SIL, SIL experienced an increase in both revenue and customer base. In order to meet the needs of the growing customer base a new branch was opened in Jan 2014.

Mayowa Akele is a non-executive director at Stalak Industries Limited. She is a graduate of Heriot-Watt University, Edinburgh where she obtained a first class degree in Chemical Engineering. She is currently pursuing a doctorate in mathematical sciences at the University of Nottingham.

Her research is focused on developing mathematical models for social and environmental problems which coincides with her passion for doing "socially useful work". For her this means making a real difference by helping people who need it. Over the years, she has engaged in various fundraising activities and volunteering in her local community. Upon completion of her PhD, she hopes to move into a quantitative role where she can keep doing "socially useful work".

Outside of her degree, Mayowa dabbles in website development and computer programming. She created and maintains this website for Stalak Industries Limited.
