Akele Omotayo is a dedicated humanitarian that has touched so many lives with her continuous zeal to eradicate poverty.
A graduate of Yaba college of Technology, Lagos and a member of Nigeria Institute of Town Planners.
Omotayo is a qualified town planner by profession with a passion to reach out to all individuals at
the grass root level. Her selflessness and passion drove her to join Rotary International in 1999,
an association dedicated to: helping the less privileged, educating children with special needs,
providing water and sanitation in rural communities.
With over 20 years of service to rotary today, Omotayo is a prominent member of Rotary club of Agege and also a
Paul Harry fellow member of Rotary International.
Her humanitarian work has made her widely travelled both within and outside the country for several initiatives,
conferences that share her vision of combating poverty in our community.
Omotayo, the brain behind Stalak is known for her excellence in business strategy.
The idea of microfinance came to her as a way to help and reach out to more people
who are in dire need of financial assistance.
